Summer 2009:

Zane's daughters are showing a nice combination of dairyness and strength.  They are lovely girls and we look forward to adding more of them to our milking line-up.

Summer 2008:

Zane is growing up and looking real fine!  In addition to making beautiful babies, Zane is a smart guy with a real sense of humor.   When we bring does over to be bred, we move the boys into one side of their pen and close the gate in between.  Zane figured out that we always use the side of the pen with the Goat-Z-Bo in it for the breeding side.  So now when Zane sees us bringing a doe in heat over to the pen he will jump to the top of the Goat-Z-Bo so that we can't move him to the other pen.  Smart boy.  Sometimes I wonder which one of us is really in charge.

Introduction:

We welcome Zane to our herd!  Zane comes from the wonderful folks at Jacob's Pride in Marana, AZ.  He has a lot of productive, award winning relatives and he'll be working hard for us to continue producing quality stylish kids capable of high production and longevity.  We are excited to add this buckling to our herd and think he can make some great contributions.  His dam, Jacob’s Pride Rocks Zan, is a Superior Genetics doe, Grand Champion, and Top Ten Breed Leader.  She is an 8 Star Milker and has been named DHIR Elite Doe several times.  She is also a full sister to Jacob’s Pride Rock Gem, who we were lucky enough to have spend the summer with us one year (Summer Camp!).  We love Gem and hope that Zane will produce does of her caliber.
