Fall 2016:
Boe has gone to Colorado to work. We sure miss that fella but are very glad that he is doing so well at his new home.
Summer 2015:
One June morning I went out to feed the bucks and Boe was standing off by himself. When I went to check on him I saw that he had "fish-hooked" himself. He must of been playing with a gate latch and managed to get his mouth caught on it. I was able to get him unhooked, but he had done a lot of damage to his mouth. It took a few weeks for Boe to get over the infection and pain but he is doing great now. We are very glad that he has recovered.
Summer 2014:
Boe is a yearling now and really looks like it. He is growing well, but is still a baby at heart. He loves playing with the younger bucks and running circles around “old man” ExO. He is a very happy, easy going boy.
Summer 2013:
Our wonderful herd sire, Rio, is getting old and starting to slow down. So we are very excited to keep this son of his. Boe is a delightful young man, friendly and handsome. He is a great blending of two exceptionally fine animals. He has been accepted into the American Dairy Goat Association's Sire Development Program. This program selects young bucks that they believe to have the potential of being exceptional sires. We can't wait to put their predictions to the test!
