Summer 2016:
We don't know what happened but right before Rosetta was due to kid she stopped eating and had trouble walking. We treated her for ketosis and put her in a private pen. We gave her lots of TLC and induced her to kid a few days early. Once her triplet boys were born, Rosetta starting improving. She isn't milking up to our expectations yet, but we are so glad that she recovered.
Rosetta scored very well on Linear Appraisal. She is a lovely doe with nice depth and length.
Summer 2015:
Rosetta has been named the 2015 BMR Best Surprise due to her surpassing our expectations. She is a lovely young lady, and a nice addition to our milking string.
Summer 2014:
We just had to keep another Tyler doeling! Tyler is the epitome of a good productive goat. Rosetta looks like she will be able to continue in her mom’s hoof prints and be a lovely addition to our herd.
