A Sad Good-Bye to Marco
We are very sad to report that we lost SG Reuel Miriam's EXP Marconi (Marco) to pneumonia in October of 2010. Marco was awarded his Superior Genetics title this year as well as earning his Elite Sire status. Marco is a *+Buck that scored as 91 EEE on his last linear appraisal. He will be missed greatly.
Summer 2010:
Congratulations to Marco for earning his Superior Genetics title AND his Elite Sire status this year! One of Marco's sons has now qualified for the ADGA Sire Development Program!
Summer 2009:
Marco, now a 2 year old, is continuing to grow well, but is quite a shaggy fella. It's hard for us to assess his conformation and last year's linear appraisal session ran too long for us to get him appraised. We were very pleased this year when he appraised as Excellent.
Summer 2008:
Marco is growing well and looking fine! His first kids hit the ground this spring and they looked pretty special, too. We are excited to be using Marco more heavily this coming breeding season and plan on keeping more of his lovely daughters.
Summer 2007:
We've been waiting for this guy for awhile now. We put in our reservation back in 2005 for a 2006 buckling, but his dam only had doelings that year. Finally, this year Marco arrived. His dam is a Superior Genetics Grand Champion. She made the Top Ten list in Butterfat for 2005 and is consistently awarded Best Udder in Show. We are expecting great things from her son, Marco, and look forward to using him in our breeding program.
