Summer 2015:
Hannah has gone to the Sandplum Creek herd to work as a brood doe.
Summer 2014:
For some reason Hannah did not breed back last year, so she is on an extended lactation and doing mighty fine. She has now been milking for one and a half times longer than a standard lactation and still milking more than where most yearling first fresheners peak. She is quite a productive girl, and we are keeping our fingers crossed that she will breed back this year.
Hannah has earned her Superior Genetics title.
Summer 2013:
Hannah looked like she had swallowed a basketball when she was young. In fact, I worried that she had somehow gotten bred too early and was pregnant. Luckily it was just a strange growing streak that she grew out of. Now that she really has been pregnant and kidded with twins, she looks great and is milking great. Her udder is super soft and milks down easily from nicely placed teats.
Spring 2012:
Dairyl Hannah, daughter of Marlyn Mondoe, is another lovely blonde. She is looking quite striking already, growing more lovely each day. She is long and elegant.
