Summer 2017:
Melody easily kidded with triplets this year and went right to work making lots of milk for David’s cheese making. Mel milks out easily and fully without any fuss. She is a great worker and loves her job.
Once again, we couldn’t resist and we’ve kept another doeling from her.
Summer 2016:
Melody continues to amaze us. She kidded with quads this year - 1 doeling, 3 bucklings, then went to work making lots of high quality milk. Not only that, but she scored as Excellent on Linear Appraisal! Kudos to Mel for being such a great goat. We just love her.
Summer 2015:
Melody is the epitome of a great milker. She is a Superior Genetics doe that is calm and quiet, loves her job, doesn't make a fuss, and milks out easily from a beautiful udder with nice teats. Plus, she kidded with triplet doelings this year, beating her record of twin doelings last year. What's not to love?!
Summer 2014:
Melody started out being somewhat shy and quiet, but has come out of her shell to become quite a nice milker after kidding with twin doeling. She scored very well on her linear appraisal and is quickly heading towards adding a milking star to her pedigree. Mel is a very good addition to our milking team, as well as looking great.
Summer 2013:
Melody is a charming young lady that is full of promise. She grows prettier every day, which is no surprise considering her parentage! She would rather hang out with her goat buddies than with her people, but is quite happy to enjoy human company when she has nothing better to do.
