Summer 2017:

Finale is not letting us down!  She kidded well with twin doelings and went right to work making lots of high quality milk for David’s cheese making.  Then, she scored very well in confirmation on her first linear appraisal.  She is a bit high strung in the milking parlor, but we expect that she will calm down once she matures a bit more.  For now, she gets very high marks and we are loving having her here.

Finale has now earned her Superior Genetics title plus the coveted Best First Freshener Award (BFF).

Summer 2016:

I was heartbroken when we lost this girl's mom, Raziah, shortly after she kidded. Raziah was so very close to exactly what I strive for in my herd - strong yet dairy, productive, easy-going, and lovely. Since this girl was the last kid born to Raziah (not to mention the 4th of quads who made her appearance after we thought Raziah was done kidding) we couldn't help but choose "Finale" as her name. I will mourn Raziah for a very long time, but I am so very thankful to have Finale in our herd.
