Summer 2016:
Even though BeeJay is still a wild child, thankfully, she loves coming in to be milked. She waits somewhat patiently for her turn in the milking parlor then launches onto her stand. She has a lovely udder with wonderfully plumb teats. She is a lovely girl that makes us laugh.
Summer 2015:
BeeJay is beautifully put together with nice strength of bone, smooth shoulders, nice length, and has an excellent head with great ears. She looks like she will be a great asset in our milking herd next year.
Normally our kids are bottle raised and quite friendly. BeeJay, however, was dam raised and not handled much. At weaning she was pretty much a wild child. But now that she is hanging out with the rest of the kids and seeing how they behave with the humans, BeeJay is slowly getting used to being pet on. It doesn't hurt that we carry apple treats to entice her...
